Wednesday Mom and I went to the nursing home.  While we were there we met with Karen.  She's a reporter from The Ledger Independent in Maysville, KY.  She heard about me and wants to do a story about me and my visits to the nursing home and library.  There were lost of people at the nursing home that wanted to take pictures of me.  It was so much fun.  Then we went to the library.  I was so tired I fell asleep while the kids read to me.

Mom gave me a bath yesterday.  It was sooo cold.  Then she blew me dry.  I then realized that it was Wednesday and we got to go to the nursing home and library.  There were so many people there to pet me.  It was Bev's birthday and I was her present. So much has been happening.  April went to a dog show in Monroe, MI in the beginning of the month.  She came in second.  Then she went t Urbana, OH and she got Reserve one day and won the next!  She now has 12 points. Laurie got to go with Mom yesterday to a HOGPC meeting.  She said it was fun.  I went back to the library and nursing home.  The kids read so many stories to me I fell asleep. BOL

I've been sooo busy since I last wrote.  I've been going to the nursing home like usual but I also started back at the library.  They even asked me to be in a parade.  That was lots of fun.  So many people there to pet me. They had some really big doggies there too. Mom said they were horses - not sure what breed that is. BOL

Mom and I went to the nursing home on Wednesday.  It was alot of fun.  But now it is sooo hot.  I like to lay under the back porch in the mud and Dad set up a fan so it stays nice and cold down there.  Even April found out how nice it is.  But for some reason Mom said I can't stay with Laurie and April.  Mom said that Laurie is "in season".  I really want to stay with her but Mom said that Joey and I have to stay in the other yard until she's done.  Hope that's soon....

Its been so hot not able to do much.  Dad put a fan under the porch so that I can stay nice and cool.  Of course the brat, otherwise known as April, discovered it so now she stays under there with me.  There's plenty of room tho.  Mom and I went to the nursing home again.  We had a good time but then some other dogs came so Mom thought it best that we leave. I heard Mom tell Dad that I get to stay in the house all next week.  I can't wait.

I knew something was up when Mom came home with Kane.  We had to spend the night together in the shed.  We grumbled a bit but soon fell asleep.  Mom woke us up early and we got in the car.  April was there too.  We drove and drove until we got to this place called Lima.  Mom met with Kayleen and then it was off to the show ring.  April won!! Kane and I didn't. bummer.  We then went to the motel.  The elevator was really noisy but our room was nice and cool.  Nicole spent the night with us too...

Mom gave me a bath! And then we went inside and she let me sleep in her bed.  I was glad because it started to have thunder boomers and I don't like those.  I wanted to hide under the covers but Mom said no.  Then on Wednesday morning we went to the nursing home.  It was weird going that early but there were lots of people there just to pet me.  When we got home Mom got April and took her to Aunt Darla's so she can show her at a dog show next week in Indiana.  Its so nice and peaceful now tha...

Mom took April to the groomers on Wednesday and then gave me a bath too.  On Thursday she took April to "doggy day care" so she would stay clean and I got to stay in the house with Dad.  Thursday night Kane came back.  I didn't recognize him at first because he was so little when he went away but now he's almost as big as me.
